The year 2003 has seen quite a lot of wars and terrorism activities across the world. However, the main highlight still remains the Iraq wars.

The Iraq war was one fight where not one or two countries were involved, but, several countries against one country. And the major role in the war was played by the two supremes, America and UK.

Tony Blair, the former prime minister of Britain, was the person who took Britain into war against Iraq. According to a report, the prime minister was told that Saddam Hussein, the Iraqi dictator had no weapons for mass destruction. And it was this report that led the prime minister to take UK into war against Iraq.

The then Prime minister received a report from the intelligence mentioning that all the weapons of Saddam were dismantled about 10 days earlier British forces actually invaded Iraq. This invasion later became a much controversial issue that surfaced various other aspects.

It was Tony Blair, the then prime minister of UK who actually made others realize that Saddam was emerging up as a real threat to the middle east with his large number of biological and chemical weapons. Whereas, on the contrary, the British Foreign Office had no idea about the nuclear missiles equipped by Iraq! Blair also mentioned that these missiles were ready enough and could be easily launched within a 45 minute notice.  It was the staff that actually warned the dictator’s dismantled weapons and that there were nearly no clue or evidence about the existence of these weapons. But finally, it was Blair who actually ordered his troops to join the American troops to fight against the Iraqi dictator and his wide strength. It was William Ehrman, who said that the ministers were repeatedly warned about Iraq’s patchy weapons. He also said, “We did, I think on March 10, get a report that chemical weapons might have remained disassembled and Saddam hadn’t yet ordered their assembly”.
