US missile kills four militants in Pakistan’s tribal area
On Wednesday, two missiles were fired by an aircraft into the stronghold of northwestern Pakistani militant. It is suspected that the aircraft was from US drone Aircraft, said the Pakistani security officials. Due to this attack four militants of Pakistan were killed and many were injured.
This year more than 40 attacks has been made by the United States with their strong missile firing and pilotless aircraft as Taliban insurgency is increasing in the area and is forcing the neighboring Afghanistan to face it.
The paramilitary force officials and the intelligence agency said that the attack was made in the North Waziristan region on the border of Afghan at the late night. The attacked area was 12 miles (20 km) away from the west of the town of Miranshah.
In this attack four people were killed and six were seriously wounded. Till now the identification of these killed and injured people has not been made said the officials. The region of North Waziristan is a very stronghold of the militants of Taliban and Taliban al-Qaida allies so it is suspected that they may be from the Taliban militants. The investigation is going on for their identification.
Since last month, the Pakistani army is also been battling with the Taliban militants in the neighboring region of South Waziristan. But, the Pakistan is officially objecting the attacks and strikes made by the US drone aircrafts. They said that the attack is violating the sovereignty of the country and unbalancing its peace.
But, the United States officials said that the strikes and the attacks that they have made are generally done and carried out under an agreement made with Islamabad. According to the agreement the Pakistani leaders has also a right to decry the strike and attacks if it is made in public.
