On Thursday, a letter comes to FIFA from FAI (Irish Football Association) for requesting the replay of their controversial World Cup against France.

The ruling body of the World’s Football has given an indication that there can be a little chance of granting the request of FAI.

France is in the second level in Paris with 1-1 after beating the republic of Ireland with 1-0 in Dublin and has been qualified for the world cup finals with the Ireland crashing out.

The match was stop with the argument that in the match before passing the ball to William Gallas for heading the goal, Thierry Henry the captain of France football team used his hand for stopping the ball that was going out of the play. And thus the France wins the match by an aggregate of 2-1.

This situation has now turned into a political situation. The Irish prime minister is forcing FIFA for the replay of the same match once again. But, the French Prime Minister Francois Fillon, is arguing that governments should not interfere in this matter.

On Thursday, the FAI said that the integrity of the sport has been damaged due to the blatantly wrong decision given by the referee to award the goal to the France. The FAI also said that they will call on FIFA, the world governing body of football, to organize and replay the same game.

The football body of Irish pointed to an instance – In 2005, the result of the match played between Bahrain and Ukbekistan was invalidated by FIFA as there was technical error in the decision given by the referee in the match. In that match, an Uzbeki player had violated the rule by entering into the Bahrain defensive area and at the same time the penalty was taken by some other teammate player. The match referee gave a decision of indirect free kick to the Bahrain Team instead of giving a decision of penalty re-take.

The FAI is expecting the same decision from FIFA so that the standards of integrity and fair play can be protected.

When asked about this incident to FIFA, it said that this time the situation is totally different from that one.

On Wednesday, two missiles were fired by an aircraft into the stronghold of northwestern Pakistani militant. It is suspected that the aircraft was from US drone Aircraft, said the Pakistani security officials. Due to this attack four militants of Pakistan were killed and many were injured.

This year more than 40 attacks has been made by the United States with their strong missile firing and pilotless aircraft as Taliban insurgency is increasing in the area and is forcing the neighboring Afghanistan to face it.

The paramilitary force officials and the intelligence agency said that the attack was made in the North Waziristan region on the border of Afghan at the late night. The attacked area was 12 miles (20 km) away from the west of the town of Miranshah.

In this attack four people were killed and six were seriously wounded. Till now the identification of these killed and injured people has not been made said the officials. The region of North Waziristan is a very stronghold of the militants of Taliban and Taliban al-Qaida allies so it is suspected that they may be from the Taliban militants. The investigation is going on for their identification.

Since last month, the Pakistani army is also been battling with the Taliban militants in the neighboring region of South Waziristan. But, the Pakistan is officially objecting the attacks and strikes made by the US drone aircrafts. They said that the attack is violating the sovereignty of the country and unbalancing its peace.

But, the United States officials said that the strikes and the attacks that they have made are generally done and carried out under an agreement made with Islamabad.  According to the agreement the Pakistani leaders has also a right to decry the strike and attacks if it is made in public.

Three year old Bangladeshi twins Trishna and Krishna joined at the head were successfully separated after a long 24 hour risky marathon surgery by an Australian surgeon’s team.

These two Bangladeshi girls, trishna and Krishna were brought to Australia last year in January by the Children First Foundation Trust. Both of their heads were joined and it was very difficult and risky task to separate them. But a team of 16 surgeons of Australia have successfully done this work.  The surgery for separating three year old girls was started yesterday in the morning at the Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital.  The nurses of the hospital also assist the doctors in successfully completing the surgery.

The hospitals spokesman, Dr. Leo Donnan told the reporters, “Everything that we have done has completed successfully”. He also added in his speech that both the girls – trishna and Krishna were separated at local time 11:00 am. Everybody was eager to see how pretty both these special girls look after the successful completion of the risky marathon surgery.

Doctors said that even though both the girls are separated but there is still long way ahead to go and to cure them properly. There are few more tasks and surgery to carry out with these girls. Now the doctors have to carry out reconstruction surgery which they can’t say how long it will go. To prevent infection, plastic surgery will carry on closing their skulls with skin tissue and bone. Both the girls – trishna and Krishna will stay in coma for many days. The doctors said that both the girls would now be kept sedated for few days and it will take time for them to slowly woken up.

The doctors said that they have faced and done such task successfully for the first time in their whole life.

Today in northwest Pakistan, a suicide bomber with his explosive loaded vehicle, rammed into Peshawar police station. In this deadly terrorist attack five people were killed and 20 others were injured till now.

This deadly attack by the terrorist at the Badabher police station was done at morning 7.45 am, said the local residents. A house and the mosque nearby the police station were also affected. They were also reduced to rubble due to this powerful blast. From this rubble five dead bodies were pulled out and 20 other people were injured, said the rescue service officer.

The district administration chief, Shahibzada Anees said that the suicide bomber came in a car from the Khyber Agency direction, and hit the wall between the mosque and the police station. Hitting the wall, the bomb in the car blasted and damages the police station, while the mosque gets collapsed. Due to this blast, a nearby market also gets damaged.

Police cordoned off the whole area to pull out the people from the rubble. Some local residents helped the rescue workers to remove the rubble and pull out the dead bodies and injured people from it. The ambulance took the injured people and the bodies to the hospitals where the injured were taken into emergency ward. The local residents said that even more people might be there under the mosque rubble. Even a person said that he had seen some textbooks and schoolbags lying at the blast sight, so there might be one or two children buried under the rubble.

From past four days this was the fifth attack by the terrorists in Peshawar and in nearby areas.

Yesterday an anti Taliban mayor was attacked by burqa-clad militants in badabher area, but he was successful in escaping from there. While on Saturday, on the outskirts of the city near the police check post, in a suicide car bomber attack 12 people were killed.

On Friday, in Peshawar 2 suicide car bombers hit the headquarters of ISI operational in which 17 people were killed. While on Thursday in the city, a Pakistani employee of Iranian consulate was gunned down.

The hub of the local Taliban considers that after the launching of military operation in South Waziristan last month, the militants have targeted Peshawar.

The Taliban has claimed for the responsibility for most of the attacks occurring in the city except the car bombing in Peshawar market which killed nearly 120 lives.

Melbourne: Another attack on a gullible Indian was held in Melbourne. Sai  Ratan Tiwari, is a 22 year old youth who belongs from Jabalpur in Madhya pradesh in India , who arrived in Australia a year ago to pursue an honorable  degree of Bachelors of information systems. Was punched on his face by a faction of Australians, when two of them stopped him when he was on his way to the temple and was asked where he was going. “I told them I was going home instead of disclosing that I was going to a temple,” said Tiwari, a student of Ballarat University, said as he was scared to disclose the fact that he was on his to the temple with his friend.

“They punched on my face and told me ‘in this place there is no home for you’,” he said, adding that he refused to go to the hospital and instead was treated by an on-site ambulance. the attendants in the ambulance, cleaned the wounds and gave the required medications.

He said when his unhurt friend was trying to make a phone call to the police the attackers snatched the phone from him and fled the view.

“We called the police. They arrived after 10 minutes and after that the ambulance arrived. I was unconscious because I had lost a lot of blood,” Tiwari said.

Tiwari said he has already contacted the Indian Consulate General’s office in Australia which has given him a doctor’s number for any supplementary treatment.

The event has already been reported to Frankton Police Station. Tiwari is the latest victim of the ethnic attacks in Australia and was mentally disturbed due to the incident which made him want to go back home in India.

The floodwaters was about to be seen five meters(yards) at Coffs harbor on Saturday afternoon  before slackening, the state emergency service said, describing as “drastic” the  growing effect of recent downpours

“Weather conditions have eased considerably over the last few hours. However, we still have some 4,800 people isolated by floodwaters in a number of north-coast communities, “said SES spokesman Phil Campbell.

In Vietnam, due to tropical storm many people were killed and on Thursday the death toll rises to 99. The authorities estimated that the damage due to storm was about $55 million. In Phu Yen the death toll reaches to 69, whereas 16 residents are still missing.

The people of Binh Dinh have started returning to their home even though the flood waters continue. While 14 people died in the neighboring province of Binh Dinh. In the neighboring region, it was estimated from the government website that about 16 people are dead and  one is still missing.

The deputy chairman of the provincial People’s committee, Nguyen Ba Loc. said that in three districts about 3, 00,000 people are still inundated and rescue plan is still going on to save the victims.

Due to this flood, many families lost their home and dear ones. Some of the areas are severely affected by this flood. About 24000 people are taking shelter at the government buildings.

Military helicopters are helping people by providing them the food materials. They are dropping instant noodles and water to the victims of the isolated areas. The soldiers are also helping the victims in their speed boats. They are providing every type of facility to the victims that are needed.

The storm has injured about 66 people and more than 16000 homes were damaged in the country. The national committee for storm and food control estimated that, about 30,000 hectares of rice and other crops get damaged due to the storm. These numbers can even rise higher.

The Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has said that the government will provide 225 billion dong and 10,000 tons of rice to help the victims. The government also said that he will provide all the necessary needs to the victims in order to better their life.
