As we all are aware of the tallest Burj Khalifa in Dubai was out to public recently after which Dubai added another achievement to its repertoire of skyscrapers by launching a 72 floor tower, which was declared as world’s tallest hotel. Isn’t that great; as Dubai is just up to making all this fantastic towers.
The city’s latest landmark was inaugurated by a leading hotel management company. And also this tower is now declared as world’s tallest hotel in Guinness Book world records. This tower, Rrose Rayhaan by Rotana, is a soaring up to 72 floor tower along with offering 482 rooms and 333 meters high. That’s just amazing!
This latest launch came just after two days of much-awaited opening of Burj Dubai, which is renamed as Burj Khalifa also a tallest tower in the world stretching over 800 meters high. Also, Omer Z Kadduouri the Senior Vice President UAE for Rotana said after the launch that not only this Rose Rayahaan is a tallest hotel in the world but also a UAE flagship for Rotana’s Alclhol-free brand Rayhaan Hotels and Resorts, which is going to assist Rotana to positioned its brand internationally and undoubtedly would maintain Dubai’s positioning amongst other tourism destinations all worldwide.
The construction of this tower began in 2004 and this was designed by Khatib and Alami architectural group, and the developers were Bonyan International Group. Also according to the news from the sources, Ratana will be operating 11 more hotels in Dubai, with two more scheduled to open within the first quarter of 2010.
Kaddouri said that Rotana currently operates 1,334 rooms just on Sheikh Zayed Road and also operates many more hotels in Dubai itself than any other single operator. This is really a very big achievement for Dubai and is well appreciated also.
