Severed Heads Of 6 Mexican Cops Found In A Plaza
Tijuana: In a very horrifying incident, the severed heads of 6 state policemen was discovered in a public plaza in the northern state of Durango in Mexico.
These severed heads of the policemen were located in the small township named Cuencame, just a day after a complaint was lodged mentioning that the policemen were kidnapped. The revelation came from the state prosecutor’s spokesman Ruben Lopez.
However, there wasn’t any information about the main motive behind these terrifying slayings. But according to the previous records, the beheading act was believed to be the signature of the brutal drug gang violence occurring in Mexico. The city of Durango, a small mountainous and rural state is believed to be the main battleground of the drug traffickers.
The bodies of 3 young men were discovered in Tijuana, while the body of the 4th man was found just outside a hospital. The body of the fifth man whose hands and legs were bound was found near a gas station. Well, these deaths came up just a day after 12 bodies of men were found in Tijuana, which also included the four bodies which were decapitated. The number also included another four men killed in a fierce shootout in a seafood restaurant. Result to these killings, the police arrested six people as suspects which also includes an 18 year old woman and also 2 teenagers. It is believed that these suspects were planning to attack a pool hall at the same time when the shootout was to happen in the restaurant.
The teenagers are thought to be a part of a drug gang led supremely by Teodoro Garcia Simental, who according to the authorities is conducting a fierce battle with the Arellano Felix Cartel in the city if Tijuana.
The city in this year itself has seen about 590 deaths caused due to violence caused due to drug trafficking.
