As we all knew that Dubai is in process of setting up the tallest building in the world, on 4th January Monday finally was unveiled with tight security program. Thereby celebrating the tower as a bold feat on the world stage despite the city state’s shaky financial footing.
Also the final height of the Burj Dubai; the Arabic for Dubai Tower still remained to be a secret till the evening of its opening. And according to the reports, it was more than 3,625 feet (800 meters); it also long ago vanquished its nearest rival, the Taipei 101 in Taiwan.
The Architects who worked on it have claimed that Burj Dubai could even break the 2,700-ft mark. The people felt happy to be a part of it. Still the Bruj’s record of seeking developers didn’t stop here. This building boasts the most stories and had occupied highest floor of any other building in the world. It also ranks as the tallest structure of the world by beating out a television mast in North Dakota. And further about its observation deck on floor 124 sets a record as well. The developer of the Bruj’s tower Emaar properties; amazingly kept on pushing the design higher and higher even after the construction was started.
Talking about the 169 the floor; the building passes through different climatic zones as the temperature here at the top is up to 10 c cooler than the temperature at the bottom.
The opening of this was done by Dubai’s ruler, as he opened the tapering metal and glass spire on Monday; also with the combination of choreographed water displays, fireworks, light beams and sound effects describing the evolution of the world’s most derisive building.
However, the building has received condemnation from various sectors. Workers organization and Human rights groups said that the tower has been build using “slave labour” and much more.
